Throughout the course of 8 lessons, this Alberta OHS based training instructs workers on their right to participate in work site health and safety programs. These tutorials provide insight on how an effective HS committee is both established and maintained. Workers and employers and will learn how HS committees carry out successful meetings, complete work site investigations and deal with work refusals.

Workplace training is the responsibility of the employer, so any training you take while unemployed is likely not to be of any benefit. If you’re unemployed, but plan on working for a specific company in the near future, you could ask them about signing up under their company.
